Button art..it’s everywhere these days. I really wanted to do something festive with all the buttons I have laying around and thought these would be cute.
I really like how the pumpkin turned out. I simply glued buttons onto cardstock then hot glued that onto the burlap.
Rubbing a green stamp around the stem gave it a little bit of definition that I was looking for.
The ghost on the other hand…is not my favorite. Hubby says it looks more like a mummy and I think it looks like a sheep haha! What do you think?
Have you started on Fall/Halloween decor? We’re still having 100 degree weather here in California so it’s kind of hard to get in the mood to decorate for fall, but I’m slowly putting things together. I’m looking forward to enjoying Pumpkin Spice Lattes in chilly weather.
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you’re having a fabulous day!
Please check out these awesome parties that I’m linking up to
Adorable! Definitely going to try my hand at the pumpkin one come fall!
Very cute! Great project for when I’m sitting at a kid practice or activity waiting.
I love this idea! I can’t wait to try it out.
So Cute! I blog over at https://2crafty4myskirt.blogspot.com/ This Thursday I will be posting a round up of handmade pumpkins. I plan to include this project with a link to your tutorial. Please let me know if you are not OK with that. Great work!
This is totally adorable and a simple decoration. Silly question but where do you get a bunch of orange or white buttons? Do craft stores like Michaels, AC Moore and JoAnn’s sell them? Thanks
Hi Shelby, you can find buttons at Walmart, Jo-Ann, Michaels, and Hobby Lobby. I think at the time I bought them from Walmart or Jo-Ann. Hope that helps!
Girl! This is my kind of sewing. I can do this! So cute. Thanks for sharing at the #findingfall link up!
