My little one has been sick all week with what we thought was a cold. Luckily we had his 6 month appointment already scheduled so we were able to get him checked out. As soon as we walked into the doctors office he was not a happy camper. We were told he needed some antibiotics to fight off a nasty bug and to make matters worse he was due for his shots. My toddler who remembers her last shot appointment started screaming as soon as they came in to give the baby his shots. I then had both the baby and toddler screaming before anyone did anything! It was not a fun experience. As I headed out of the doctors office with two unhappy kids I wondered whether I should wait to take the prescription in or be brave and take the kids with me. I knew I had to get prescription filled as soon as possible but taking two unhappy kids inside the pharmacy sounded like a nightmare. I didn’t want to be that mom. You know the one everyone stares at. Fortunately the drive through was completely empty and I was able to quickly drop the prescription off. It’s times like these that I’m glad we have the convenience of Walgreens pharmacy.
