Can you believe Mother’s Day is a week and a half away? Every year I try to give my mother something handmade. It may not always be big or expensive, but something that I put thought into. This year I decided to make a Mother’s Day flower vase using vinyl flowers and pearl rhinestones.
This project took no time at all to make and cost me less than $5. To make your own you’ll need a glass vase, vinyl flowers (I used the Cricut George and Basic Shapes cartridge), and pearl rhinestones.
To make the vinyl flower vase:
Apply the vinyl flowers around the vase then add a little pearl in the center of each flower. I used a total of nine 2 inch flowers on my vase but you could make them as big or small as you like.
Today I’m partnering with a group of bloggers and Cricut to offer a HUGE giveaway. One lucky reader is going to win a Cricut Expression 2 plus a dslr camera or mixer..to make things even sweeter you’ll get two of the same prize! One for you to keep and one to giveaway for Mother’s Day!
brilliant! i love it, very creative idea!
I totally tried this and it was a great success! I’ve been truly inspired. Please go on my blog to see it. I’ve named this Mother’s Day Vase. And, I also gave you credit by attaching your link.
I love how simple this is, yet so very pretty. The pearls add a really nice touch.
