While in New York for the Sandra Lee blogger event I had the opportunity to meet with some fabulous brand representatives. Sear’s had several brands demonstrate their products to us while we toured the store, many included sampling their products. One of those brands was SodaStream. I had heard of SodaStream before but didn’t know very much about their products. Luckily we were able to sample some of the drinks and watched a demo on how the SodaStream machine works.

I recently received a SodaStream unit to review and have had fun all week trying new flavors. The machine is so easy to use and with over 60 flavor options there’s sure to be something for everyone’s preference.

 
If you’re not a soda drinker then you may be pleased to know that you can also use SodaStream to turn plain water into sparkling water in a matter of seconds. Oh but that’s not all, you can even flavor your water with the all natural-unsweetened mywater flavor essence packs.
 
SodaStream is also environmentally friendly by reducing the disposal of cans and bottles. SodaStream offers two sizes of carbonators that make 60 or 130

liters of soda. That is the equivalent to 170 or 310 cans of soda!
 
To make your own soda fill the bottle with water to the grey line. Then twist the bottle onto the SodaStream machine and press the button to carbonate it until you hear three loud beeps.
 
Fill the cap with soda mix and carefully pour it into the carbonated water.  Then place the cap on the bottle and gently give it a shake to distribute the flavoring. Now enjoy you’re homemade soda. It really is that easy to use! My husband said his favorite is the Cola but I really like the Cranberry-Raspberry mix.
