Happy Monday, friends! Can you believe Christmas is tomorrow? I’ll admit that I was one of those last minute shoppers at the mall this weekend. I don’t know what I was thinking waiting until the weekend before Christmas but hopefully I’ll be a little more organized next year. Speaking of gifts I still have a few left to wrap which happens to be my favorite part! Over the weekend I made a few stitched gift tags to compliment my kraft paper gift wrap.
Last month I saw someone on instagram post a picture of a box full of fun baking supplies. I read in the comments that it was Celebrations new monthly crate subscription. Well imagine my surprise when I received an email recently asking me if I was interested in reviewing Decembers’ crate. I love trying new crafting supplies and was really excited to see what was inside.
The Celebrate Crate is a monthly subscription filled with inspirational ideas and supplies to help you celebrate a special event, holiday, and everyday. Every month you receive a box filled with crafting, baking, or party supplies along with a card to scan to receive creative project ideas to make with your supplies.
The crate subscription is $20 a month with shipping already included! I love the idea of getting a box full of surprise items every month! You can learn more and sign up for the Celebrate Crate here.
The December crate includes:
Sew Easy stitch piercer and foam mat
45 yards of twine from The Twinery
6 white notecards with envelopes
12 white gifts tags with twine ties
Plus $50 in gift certificates!
I’ve been wanting to try the Sew Easy tool for awhile now so I was excited to make stitched gift tags. The way it works is you run the piercer along your paper then sew with the twine. You can switch out the piercer with a variety of creative patterned piercers.
My tags were a little bare so I used a couple of Christmas stamps to give them some life.
My favorite is the the tag above. I love the red glitter and twine!
The ink I used for the snowflake stamp was a little dull but the rhinestones helped brighten them up a bit.
Thanks for stopping by!
