This post is part of a paid campaign with American Crafts, but all opinions are my own.
As you know I’m a BIG fan of using Project Life to document our lives. With Summer coming to an end I’m working on printing pictures of all the fun memories we had over the last few months. Today I’m sharing a few Project Life pages of a recent trip to San Francisco.
Did you know you can now find Project Life at Michaels? They have one of the largest selections of Project Life including two exclusive core kits and several exclusive albums! Today I’m sharing layouts with the Vintage Travel and Dear Lizzy 5th and Frolic kits.
The layout above is simple, with very little added. It goes on to show just how easy Project Life is. I used two pictures from the pier and the rest are cards from the kit. The only embellishments on this page are thickers and wash tape. Oh and have I mentioned how much I LOVE thickers? They’re my favorite! I use them on most of my layouts, birthday cards, and other random paper crafts.
The Vintage Travel Core kit is a little darker than my other kits but I think that’s why I’m sp drawn to it. My other kits focus more on bright girly colors, which as you can only guess makes filing the boy’s albums a little difficult. This kit has a vintage, rustic feel with earthy tones. In this kit you’ll find dark blues, reds, browns, neutrals, trains, airplanes, and maps. Its perfect for boys, family, and vacation albums.
The Dear Lizzy 5th and Frolic Core Kit is absolutely adorable! I really adorable Elizabeth Kartchner’s style, its perfect for my daughters Project Life album. The kit features a combination of vintage and modern patterns, light pinks, blues, yellows, and neutrals. There’s also an array of birds, trees, foxes, keys, and clipboards..seriously, its SO cute!
One of the things i love about project life cards are the the designs. For example the card below with the camera was a 4×6 card but I wanted to use it as a 3×4, so I trimmed it down and rounded the corners to match the other cards. I’ve also used the cards on memo board displays.
Are you currently using Project Life? What are some of your favorite kits?
Thanks for stopping by!
