Easy Halloween matchbook treat holder with printable Halloween tags.
Hey crafty friends! October is here and I’m ready for a month full of Halloween crafts, recipe, home decor, and movies! Do you remember watching the 13 nights of Halloween? My sisters and I would watch it religiously every year. Now a days we’ve been counting down to the start of Halloween shows on Disney Junior. My little guy has reminded me about 10 times a day for the last week that it was starting today. A Halloween Sophia and Jake? That calls for celebration! :) September was kind of crazy for us and I have drafts full of Halloween projects waiting for me to finish editing pictures. So stay tuned, I have plenty of spooky treats and pumpkin decorating ideas to share soon. Today I have an easy matchbook Halloween treat holder to share with you.
The mini matchbooks were made with the Lifestyle Crafts matchbook die. The die cut measure about 1.9×2.7 inches once assembled. These cuties are tiny and perfect size for a Ghirardelli mini square.
Supplies:
Matchbook Die
candy
glue
stapler
Step on: Cut paper to 6 inches wide. This will fit two matchbook dies on the plate. The die comes with a straight and scalloped edge. Fold on the perforated lines.
Step two: Use a stapler to attach a small piece of candy to the inside. Small like mini candy pieces, individually wrapped lifesavers, or Ghirardelli minis.
Step three: staple or glue the fold over edge down. I glued the printable tag before folding everything in place and then glued the scalloped edge on top.
