Reese’s Chocolate Popcorn – this chocolate covered popcorn recipe only takes minutes to make and a perfect treat for Reese’s fans.
Hey friends! It’s been a busy week and I can’t wait to show you what I’ve been working on for the holidays. I’ve been so focused on holiday projects that I almost didn’t realize that the kids have their classroom Halloween parties tomorrow and I haven’t worked on their treat bags. Luckily we signed up for easy treats and they shouldn’t take too long to put together this evening. Speaking of easy treats, today I’m sharing a quick last minute Halloween treat that you can make for a Halloween party or any time throughout the year. This Reese’s Nutrageous chocolate covered popcorn is easy to make and only requires a few ingredients.
We love making a batch of chocolate popcorn for family movie nights and to give in treat bags during special holidays. You can easily whip up a batch just in time for Halloween and wrap it in cellophane bags with a pretty ribbon.

Earlier this month we made Halloween treat holders with cardstock and some of our favorite Hershey’s candy. These are really simple to make and are great for Halloween parties or to leave on someone’s door as a “You’ve Been Booed” gift. Have you heard of this idea? You leave a treat on a neighbor’s door with a note saying they’ve been booed. The idea is that the recipient will have to guess who left the gift and then give a gift to another neighbor.
To make the holder I used a 12-inch piece of cardstock and cut it into a cone. I rolled it so the ends overlapped then stapled it together (you could also use glue). I then used ribbon to create a “handle” and to decorate the top of the cone. Now all that’s left is to fill it with paper shreds and candy.
To be honest, I’m a little sad to see Halloween go. Don’t you just love this time of year? Americans all over the country celebrate the magic of Halloween with creative costumes, decorations, pumpkin carving, and Halloween parties. In fact, 34 percent either attend or host a Halloween party. Hershey’s helps families harness the magic of the spooky holiday by sharing new classic treats that are perfect for any Halloween party. You can find seasonal favorites like Reese’s Peanut Butter Pumpkins, Kit Kat® Bars and Cadbury Screme Eggs.
