Hello friends. Can you believe Christmas is here? I’ve been working on Christmas projects since October and I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that we’ll be celebrating tomorrow morning. Since this is a busy time for us I opted for easy gift ideas this year. I usually make a good portion of our gifts or at least create a semi-handmade gift, especially if I’m giving gift cards. This year I made everything from sugar scrubs, to sweet & spicy mixed nuts, and even a few gift baskets. One of the gifts I made was this coffee basket for a friend who loves coffee. It’s filled with a Christmas mug, coffee, and pretty Christmas plate. To give it a “homemade” touch I added vinyl lettering to the coffee mug. If you’re looking for a last-minute gift ideas this can be made in under 20 minutes.
Supplies:
Coffee
Coffee Mug
Vinyl
Plate
Cookies
I used designs from the Silhouette store to cut out the vinyl lettering. I’m using my favorite glitter vinyl from Expressions Vinyl and Cricut clear transfer tape. The Merry & Bright is a “shape” from the Silhouette store, the same that I used on my twinkle light canvas.
Once my gift basket was filled I used cellophane wrap and tied a bow with chalkboard ribbon. Very simple and easy to put together! A few more last-minute gift ideas:

Hi Crystal!! All your ideas are amazing. I was wondering how did you paste the letters on the mug. Thank you very much
What a cute idea! The mug is such a pretty shade of blue.
The Oreo Peppermint Bark looks amazing! I’ll have to make it this Christmas season.
Where did you find the light blue mugs…so pretty!
Hi Cindy, I believe I found them at Target last year!
Hello i was wondering what font you used for the baby its cold outside mug? its so pretty!
I love this!
Where did you get the chalkboard tray? I couldn’t find where you mentioned it in supplies? I’m thinking about doing a similar gift basket.
Thank you!
Hi Laura, sorry I’m a little late responding. I picked this up at Michaels a few years ago. With the farmhouse trend going strong, I’m sure you’ll be able to find something similar at most craft stores and maybe even Target. Hope that helps! :)
