Attending the craft & hobby association trade show in January was a lot of fun. I had the opportunity to meet new companies and see new products coming out this year. One of the things that I enjoyed the most during the show were the demos. Epiphany Crafts had a demo on their punch tools and I was happy to find that they’re very easy to use. The Epiphany Crafts pennant punch is one of my new favorite papercrafting tools! I used the pennant tool to create a mini pennant banner.

With the pennant punch there’s no need to pull out your die cutting machine when you simply need a few small shapes. Its perfect for scrapbooking, cards, tags, and making mini pennant banners.

To make the mini butterfly pennant banner I inserted the paper into the punch then placed a mini butterfly on top of the yellow chevron paper. At this point I placed the adhesive pennant epoxy shape on top of the paper, closed the lid and pressed down to punch the shape out. A little hot glue, bakers twine, and coffee stirrers completed my cupcake pennant banner.

Epiphany Crafts also makes Crafty Bands; a jewelry craft kit for kids. My daughter loves her kit, we’ve had a for a few weeks and she’s already used all of her supplies. She would ask every morning if we could make more bracelets and I would happily agree. :)

Crafty Bands is similar to the Epiphany Crafts punches, except it comes with all the supplies you need to make bracelets. There are 5 bracelets bands included with epoxy shapes and snaps.

I had to help her with a few of the steps but her favorite part was pressing down on the punch.
