I’m going to be one smart cookie with you as my teacher – cookie teacher appreciation gifts and chalkboard printable tags.Smart Cookie Teacher Appreciation Gift Printable

Teacher Appreciation Gifts

Hey crafty friends! It’s time for another Michaels Makers project. This month we’re all about back to school. I’m finally coming to terms with the sad fact that summer is over and it’s time to get back to a good routine. Our days will be filled with homework, shuffling kids back and forth, and of course no more late night trips for ice cream. Just thinking about it makes me a little sad, BUT we are officially ready for school next week. Today I want to share with you a quick and easy teacher gift with printable chalkboard tags. This “I’m going to be one smart cookie with you as my teacher” cookie gift is so easy to put together. Using gable boxes you can fill with cookies and a printable tag you’ll all set to share the love with a teacher this school year. All items (except cookies, of course) were found at Michaels. Supplies: primary colors gable boxes (gift wrapping aisle) basket filler alphabet chalkboard ribbon Elmer’s x-treme glue stick cookies chalkboard printable Cookie Teacher Appreciation Gifts

Fold the boxes on the scored lines, fill with basket filler and cookies. Then add your printable gift tag to the front with an Elmer’s x-treme glue stick. If you haven’t tried this glue you’re missing out, my friend. This stuff rocks my socks! I use it for everything, from scrapbooking to cardboard displays. Nothing is worse then having your edges start to peel, which has happened to me a lot. This glue stick ensures your paper crafts are going to stay put. Smart Cookie Teacher Gifts-Printable TagsFinish the treat boxes with this fun chalkboard ribbon and you’re done! Easy and perfect for every budget. I love the combination of the colorful boxes and chalkboard tags.
