DIY Desk Organizers – keep your office and school supplies organized with vinyl labeled gold foil boxes.DIY Desk Organizers – keep your office and school supplies organized with vinyl labeled gold foil boxesThis post is part of the Expressions Vinyl ambassador program and contains affiliate links – all opinions are my own.
Every year as soon as Christmas is over I want to clean, declutter and organize my entire house. I don’t know if it’s because as a blogger my Christmas décor is up so early or if I want to start the new year with a clean slate, but it happens every year. Last year I was able to load up our car 3 times with items to donate. That sounds crazy, right? I had so many craft supplies and toys we’ve accumulated over the years and I needed to finally clear it out. It’s shocking how much we have from this year alone. I plan to spend the week decluttering things we haven’t used in a while. Yesterday I spent the day putting away Christmas décor and doing some deep cleaning. Today I’m focusing on my work desk. My kids go through my desk looking for supplies and tend to make a mess over time. I thought it would help keep things organized if I made boxes labeled with markers, pencils and washi tape.

Supplies:
Matte Black Vinyl from Expressions Vinyl
Storage boxes from Michaels
Cricut or Silhouette
Transfer tape

Step one: Use your cutting machine to type out labels for your boxes. The font I used is called Bromello. I measured the size of the boxes and adjusted my labels to fit each box.

You can see exactly where your vinyl is being placed and it doesn’t have a strong grip so it’s easy to transfer to your surface. I also really like the matte black vinyl from Expressions Vinyl. It’s so easy to work with!school-supply-organization-ideasI found the gold foil boxes at Michaels and they are half off this week! I plan to share more of my craft supply organization with you guys next week.

I love this project! So pretty and useful. I’m always looking for pretty ways to store pens, markers, etc. I know what I’m doing later this afternoon
