Love this whole mantel decorations and would like to do this for next year. Is the star a Heidi Swapp Marquee Love star or another brand? Also, is it just wood grain paper inside the star? I would also like to know how the jars were done...hint hint! Thanks and keep on crafting :)

Holy cow Crystal You are always so full of ideas and great ones. Love how the banner looks with torn strip banner above it. Did you tie them together? I could make that as still have lots of patriotic fabrics bought long time ago. Will maybe go get some of that out, make quick banner then make paper banner with papers already bought.
This looks fun to make but maybe next year. Have spent all I shouldn't have already to buy red/white/blue papers to make 4th. July decos. I'm sure must have some decorations from previous years around somewhere.
Not that we'll be doing or going anywhere. My first choice would be Highline Lake just 7 1/2 miles from our house. A nice state park lake, not huge but have had many happy fun times there with daughter/family. Hoping they'll want to go with us if I can get hubs moving. It's so darned hot here (over 100) it's hard to budge him out of house to check the mail lately. Enjoy your weekend
