Remember when I said I envisioned this project but couldn’t seem to find the perfect supplies for it? Well, in my head I pictured making a pink topiary with light pink roses. The only problem was that I couldn’t seem to find the roses anywhere in town. Then I thought making crepe paper roses would make a great alternative. I seen this idea on House of Smiths last year where she made handing flower balls. So here is my pink topiary..finally finished!
The only thing I did differently is I didn’t roll the flowers like she did. Mine just came out looking weird so I wrapped and gathered, wrapped and gathered each flower.
I bought the styrofoam ball and cube at the Dollar Store. The pail is from Michaels and the dowel I already had.
I then added moss, a bow, and pearl beads to embellish it a little.
So what do you think? I love it! I wish I would’ve had more patience with the flowers but geez, they took forever and you can definitely tell which one’s I took my time on and which I rushed through. I’m almost done decorating my table with Valentine’s decor. So I will be posting pictures soon!
Oh, I’d also like to add that I am horrible at figuring this whole blogger thing out (hence why I don’t have a button, header, tabs, etc) and am working on learning some new things. I really want to learn how to respond to individual comments, so I’m sorry if you haven’t gotten a reply. Feel free to email me if you have a question abut a project and I will reply asap. Have a great weekend!
