DIY Watermelon Soap – how to make layered watermelon soap just in time for summer!

DIY Watermelon Soap


  • 1 lb + 10 ounces glycerin soap divided
  • 1 cup goats milk soap
  • 1/2 teaspoon green soap pigment
  • 2-3 drop red gel coloring
  • 15 drops of watermelon fragrance oil
  • 2 tablespoons poppy seeds


  1. Melt 10 ounces glycerin soap in a microwave-safe dish; stirring every 30 seconds. Stir in green pigment and pour into mold. Let soap set before continuing to the next layer.
  2. Melt goats milk soap and pour over the green layer. Again, let soap set before adding the next layer.
  3. In a large Pyrex cup, melt 1 pound of glycerin soap, stirring every 30 seconds. Add fragrance oil and red gel coloring until well combined. Pour into the mold and let set for several hours before removing.
