Mickey Oreo Balls

Ingredients

  • 36 Oreo cookies
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 2 cups melting chocolate wafers
  • 1/2 c red melting wafer
  • white sprinkles

Instructions

  • Line a 9x13 or 8x12 baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Place the Oreo cookies in a food processor to pulse them into fine crumbs. Another method is to seal the cookies in a plastic zip-top bag and crush them with a rolling pin.
  • Mix the cookie crumbs with cream cheese until well combined.
  • Press the Oreo mixture on the parchment-covered sheet. Use another layer of parchment paper to cover the mixture and help press it into an even layer. Freeze for 30 minutes or refrigerate for 2 hours or until firm.
  • Remove the top layer of parchment paper and cut out Mickey shapes with a cookie cutter.
  • Melt chocolate in a medium bowl in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth. Dip the Mickey truffles in the melted chocolate. Shake off the excess chocolate and place it on parchment paper. Refrigerate for 10 minutes.
  • Melt red melting wafers in a small bowl. Use a spatula to spread the melting candy coating on the bottom half of the truffles. Decorate with white sprinkles.
  • Refrigerate until ready to serve.
