Apple Crumble Bars

  • 3 cups quick-cooking oats not instant
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 21 ounce can caramel apple pie filling
  • 1/2 cup toffee bits


  • Preheat oven to 350 degree and line a 13x9 inch pan with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl combine oats, flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  • Add melted butter to oat mixture, mix until well combined.
  • Set aside one cup of oat mixture and press remaining into prepared pan.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes.
  • In a small bowl combine reserved 1 cup oatmeal mixture with 1/2 cup toffee bits.
  • Spread apple pie filling over baked oat layer. Sprinkle crumb mixture on top.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes. Let cool completely on wire rack.
  • Remove from pan by lifting parchment paper then cut into squares.
