DIY Unicorn Frappuccino Bath Bomb
DIY Unicorn Frappuccino Bath Bomb – how to make Starbucks Unicorn Frappuccino inspired bath bombs with layers of pink, purple and blue. Then topped with icing, sprinkles and a classic green straw.
- 1 cup baking soda
- ½ cup citric acid
- ½ cup cornstarch
- 3 tablespoons epsom salt
- Pigment powder or gel food coloring
- 3 tablespoons coconut oil melted
- 15-20 drops essential oil
- For the royal icing:
- 3 tablespoons meringue powder
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 5-6 tablespoons warm water
In a large bowl, combine baking soda, citric acid, cornstarch, epsom salt and a small amount of cosmetic pigment powder (less than a tablespoon) or a few drops of gel food coloring.
Combine coconut oil and essential oil then stir into dry ingredients.
Spray a few pumps of witch hazel until the mixture can hold its shape.
Firmly press into a small paper cup. Let bath bomb dry overnight before gently removing from cup.
For the icing:
Combine meringue powder, powdered sugar and warm water in a stand mixer. Beat for 7-10 minutes or until icing is stiff. Add half a tablespoon of water at a time, if needed.
Pipe on top of bath bombs and immediately add sprinkles. Let frosting dry overnight before packaging.
