Pecan Blondies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted and cooled
  • 1 1/2 cups firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 3/4 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray 8-inch baking pan with Pam nonstick spray.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together melted butter and brown sugar. Slowly add eggs and vanilla; whisk until smooth.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Gradually add egg mixture to flour mixture. Gently stir in pecans.
  • Spread into prepared baking pan.
  • Bake for 20-22 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  • Cool on wire rack or serve warm.
