Tzatziki Recipe

Easy homemade tzatziki sauce made with Greek yogurt, cucumber, and dill.

  • ½ - 1 cucumber
  • 1 ½ cups Greek yogurt
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1-2 tbsp dill finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp salt


  • Shred cucumber and strain with cheesecloth to remove excess water.
  • Combine all ingredients in a medium-size bowl. Add salt to taste.
  • Refrigerate for at least an hour to marinate the flavors together. Serve with grilled meats, gyros, salmon, vegetables, or as an appetizer with pita bread.
