Easy homemade tzatziki sauce made with Greek yogurt, cucumber, and dill.
- ½ - 1 cucumber
- 1 ½ cups Greek yogurt
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1-2 tbsp dill finely chopped
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- ½ tsp salt
Shred cucumber and strain with cheesecloth to remove excess water.
Combine all ingredients in a medium-size bowl. Add salt to taste.
Refrigerate for at least an hour to marinate the flavors together. Serve with grilled meats, gyros, salmon, vegetables, or as an appetizer with pita bread.
