DIY Watermelon Soap

  • 1 lb + 10 ounces glycerin soap divided
  • 1 cup goats milk soap
  • 1/2 teaspoon green soap pigment
  • 2-3 drop red gel coloring
  • 15 drops of watermelon fragrance oil
  • 2 tablespoons poppy seeds


  • Melt 10 ounces glycerin soap in a microwave-safe dish; stirring every 30 seconds. Stir in green pigment and pour into mold. Let soap set before continuing to the next layer.
  • Melt goats milk soap and pour over the green layer. Again, let soap set before adding the next layer.
  • In a large Pyrex cup, melt 1 pound of glycerin soap, stirring every 30 seconds. Add fragrance oil and red gel coloring until well combined. Pour into the mold and let set for several hours before removing.
