Happy first day of Fall! This is my favorite time of the year. It also happens to be when I craft the most so hope you don’t get sick of me :)
I’m a little late jumping on the burlap bandwagon, but I am so loving it right now. I bought several yards of it last year and then never got around to doing anything with it. This year I can’t seem to get enough of it.

With some scraps left over from my fall wreath I fancied up some plain candles. I also used strips of muslin and trim.
I ruffled the muslin then sewed it onto the burlap. Added the trim to the center and glued it onto the candle.
excuse the horrible night picture, gotta craft when the babies are sleeping :)
I wasn’t sure how the hot glue would hold up on the candle but it works great.
I’m thinking these would make great Christmas gifts. Maybe even with different fabrics?
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you have a fabulous weekend! Please visit my party link tab to see what parties I’m joining.
p.s. I had several emails asking about the flowers on my wreath, I will make a tutorial in the next few days so check back soon.
