Fabric Christmas Trees

Is there really less than 2 weeks left til Christmas? How did the holiday season go by so fast? Doesn’t it seem like someone has pressed the fast forward button these last few months. There just isn’t enough time in the day to get everything done. The kids and I have a list of Christmas crafts we want to get done and have only accomplished a mere two. Our goal is to bust out the glitter and glue and get down to business this week.
Something that was accomplished this past week was making these silver fabric trees. They’re way more budget friendly than what I could find in stores. The paper mache cones are from Michael’s and were about $1 each. The fabric I found at Hobby Lobby and was about $1.5 (with a coupon).
To make these I gave them a quick coat of Krylon Silver spray paint. Once dried I cut and glued the fabric onto the cone.
To give them more of a finished look I added rick rack along the bottom. Cute right?
I now have 3 pretty trees to complete my silver and red Christmas decor. Pictures of everything coming soon!
Now for some exciting news…With Christmas approaching I thought this would be a great time to give back. And because you guys are totally awesome I want to give you guys the chance to win some great giveaways. I appreciate you reading my blog and like to offer giveaways as a thank you. I hope you enjoy them and I can’t wait to show you something big that I’ve been working on.
Thanks for stopping by!
