Can you believe Mother’s Day is a week and a half away? Every year I try to give my mother something handmade. It may not always be big or expensive, but something that I put thought into. This year I decided to make a Mother’s Day flower vase using vinyl flowers and pearl rhinestones.
This project took no time at all to make and cost me less than $5. To make your own you’ll need a glass vase, vinyl flowers (I used the Cricut George and Basic Shapes cartridge), and pearl rhinestones.
To make the vinyl flower vase:
Apply the vinyl flowers around the vase then add a little pearl in the center of each flower. I used a total of nine 2 inch flowers on my vase but you could make them as big or small as you like.
Today I’m partnering with a group of bloggers and Cricut to offer a HUGE giveaway. One lucky reader is going to win a Cricut Expression 2 plus a dslr camera or mixer..to make things even sweeter you’ll get two of the same prize! One for you to keep and one to giveaway for Mother’s Day!
Very pretty and cute idea! I’m sure your mother will love her new vase.

This is just a GREAT and easy way to dress up a vase! What a stroke of brilliance. I could see using a lilac instead- as that’s my mom’s favorite. =D I featured you on today’s Fave 5- come grab a button! https://saynotsweetanne.com/2012/fave-5-4/

Wow–this is so very pretty! I don’t have a Cricut, but you’ve at least inspired me to do something similar to this for Mother’s Day. There are so many ways to dress up a simple flower vase! Awesome idea! :)
