You may have noticed the moss wreath hanging from a mirror in my Living Room Makeover post. Well this is a pinterest inspired project I can now check off my list! My inspiration came from Tatertots & Jello. I remember seeing it on her site last year and I recently came across a pin of it. It’s the perfect Spring wreath for my simplistic style. I decided to take the wreath off the mirror and hang it on our front door. I love the way the white butterflies stand out against the dark door.
To make the wreath I cut the moss sheet into strips wide enough to cover the wreath form. Cutting the moss into strips made it easier to work one section at a time. Several glue sticks later my wreath was completely covered.
The butterflies had long wire stems that I cut down to an inch and a half long.
make! Now maybe if I stay off pinterest long enough I’ll have more
projects to share over the next few days. ;)
Thanks for stopping by!
I love this look! Very much my style as well, understated but perfectly springy at the same time. If you’d like another place to share it I’m hosting a link party today with a few fellow bloggers. It’s all about the easy peasy, super simple tips and projects. I’d be great to see you linked up. :)

Love this wreath! I just made a wreath that had butterflies as well–I think they will be big this spring season in crafting. I featured it on Sew Woodsy’s Facebook page (since I didn’t do actual features on the blog this week)!
This is so pretty, I love butterflies too!
