The other night I told my hubby that I wanted to bake something with a cream cheese frosting and he said he’d like something with chocolate. So I got the idea to make Chocolate Chip Cookies with Cream Cheese Frosting. I had no idea if they would taste good, but they were eaten so quickly that it’s a must we make them again soon.
I’m a big fan of making things semi-homemade so I cheated and used premade chocolate chip cookie dough then made the frosting from scratch.
Frosting recipe:
1 8oz package of cream cheese
1 tsp of vanilla extract
6 tbsp of butter
1 cup of powdered sugar (you can add more to make a firmer frosting)
Then of course I added some edible eyes for the kids.
These were definitely a big hit!  I can’t wait to try out some new cookie recipes with frosting.
Thanks for stopping by, have a fabulous day!
Please check out my party link tab to see where I’m linking up this week.

What a creative idea for Halloween cookies – I love that you're using chocolate chip cookies instead of some bland shortbread cookie ;) I must try this the next time I make chocolate chip cookies…

They look way too cute to eat! I love the sound of the cream cheese frosting!

I have posted a pink post to honour a very dear friend of mine who passed away this week from breast cancer. This October's pink ribbon campaign is now even more important and poignant than ever before for me. I sure do hope you will come visit.

Best wishes,
Natasha @ 5 Minutes Just for Me
