Remember my Halloween Candy Jar? Well, our home needed a Christmas candy jar too!
I had a hard time deciding on a color comb..some ideas were red/green, white/blue, silver/red (I think I’m going to make another using this combo), and red/gold. Eventually I decided on red/white to put peppermints in but am thinking about making a few more using different colors to give as gifts.
This is what I used plus E6000. Everything but the spray paint is from Michaels. You don’t have to use spray paint, I was just being lazy and didn’t want to hand paint the whole thing :)
Once the paint is dried, glue the glass vase onto the bottom of the terra cotta pot.
I don’t have a picture but I glue the “knob” onto the saucer using E6000, you can even use hot glue or gorilla glue if you don’t have E6000 on hand.
Then fill the jar and add some ribbon..I switched my ribbon out for this snowflake one.
And that’s it! A fun project that your kids will love.
