French Vanilla Coffee Float made with International Delight creamer and french vanilla ice cream.
It’s no secret that I’m a tad bit of a coffee addict. I post pictures on instagram about coffee religiously. Not only do I love a warm cup every morning but I find ways to enjoy it as a treat as well. I’ve made iced lattes, shakes, and recently coffee floats! I couldn’t resist trying to pair my love for ice cream with coffee. Yup, coffee and ice cream..is there anything better than that? Today I’m sharing an easy french vanilla ice cream float recipe. You can make coffee floats with any of your favorite ice cream flavors from coffee ice cream to french vanilla. This recipe was made with International Delight French Vanilla creamer and french vanilla ice cream.
For this recipe I tried two methods. First I prepared a cup of coffee with my usual creamer and sugar. I then chilled the prepared coffee to use as my base for the float. The other method was to make the coffee with creamer and WITHOUT sugar. This cup was for my husband who prefers to enjoy his coffee without sugar. So if you have a sweet tooth like me go ahead an add a small amount of sugar before adding your scoop of vanilla. If you prefer a stronger coffee flavor you’ll enjoy this float with the ice cream being all the sugar you need.
