Sooo I hadn’t planned on making anything for Thanksgiving, but yesterday on our walk Jay picked up some pinecones and right away I thought about making turkeys out of them. Usually we glitter them for Christmas but I think our house could use some Thanksgiving decor for the next 2 weeks.
Aren’t they cute!?!
Supplies
Because the pinecones were small, I cut the feathers in half
I love the little one. I decided to make a banner for Thanksgiving as well, hopefully I can get that done this weekend. I’ll post it when it’s finished :)

I remember making these in first grade, but our teacher made us trace our hand and paint the traced fingers for wings. I haven't seen a pinecone turkey in many years, so thanks for the memory!

Found you on Night Owl Craft's Hoo's Got Talent and these are SOOO cute and perfect for my little one to do! Gonna have to give these a try if I can find some pinecones…For some reason they're not easy to find in South Texas :)

O my goodness, I am just squealing at the sight of your little gobblers! They are darling!! We made pinecone owls a while back that ended up looking more like turkeys, and it would've been great to make these! Instead, I'm admiring yours! :) Thanks for linking up with my Thanksgiving feast! Enjoy your weekend!
