I often find inspiration for home decor and craft ideas online. With the help of pinterest I’ve been able to create projects that I sometimes wouldn’t have thought of myself. Do you ever have one of those “why didn’t I think of that” moments after finding something on pinterest? I sure do!

Pinterest is great but I never thought to find inspiration locally, that is until this week. On Wednesday my husband and I headed to a local boutique that I’ve always wanted to go to. It used to be located at the heart of our downtown and then suddenly it disappeared. I was disappointed that I didn’t get to visit before it closed but whas happy to discover that it moved to another location closer to where I live. For months we’ve been driving by there wanting to stop and this week I finally decided I needed to check it out. Boy, am I happy I did! The place is absolutely beautiful with mounds of home decor inspiration.

German Glass Glitter Pinecone

My favorite were the German glass glitter ornaments..they’re gorgeous! Last weekend I bought German glass glitter to do this exact project, now after seeing the deer on top I need to find one asap.

Christmas Tree Ideas

The store was filled with beautifully decorated Christmas trees, each one a different theme. My favorite was the natural/glitz tree on the bottom left.

Christmas Decor Ideas

I’m happy to have finally visited this beautiful boutique. I now have tons of holiday decor inspiration and a new favorite store to shop at. I plan to support this local boutique tomorrow on Small Business Saturday. Their ornaments will be buy one get one free and I already know its going to be hard narrowing down my choices. My husband is working so it’s going to be a date with my best friend and our little ones. Wish us luck as we try to get four kids to not touch anything. :)

How fun would it be to receive one of those for Christmas? My kids would love them!

So tell me, where do you find your home decor and crafting inspiration?

Have a great weekend!

Great stuff! I can’t wait to go shopping today. I am waiting for my husband to get home from breakfast with his brothers.
