How to make Marshmallow Snowman Treats and Mini Butterfinger Cheesecakes.

Marshmallow Snowman Treats Recipe

Mini Butterfinger Cheesecakes RecipeBaking season is officially here! You know what that means right? There’s been a whole lot of Christmas music playing and baking going on around here. The kids and I made THE cutest marshmallow snowman treats this weekend. But today I have not one but TWO recipes to share with you! While the kids ate marshmallow snowmen I made Mini Butterfinger Cheesecakes for the {big} kids at heart. While Black Friday shopping we picked up a couple of bags of holiday candy to bake new treats with the kids over the next few weeks. This is my favorite time of the year! I love the memories we create during the holidays.

Marshmallow Snowman Treats

  • NESTLÉ® Chocolate Chip Cookies
  • NESTLÉ® BUTTERFINGER® or CRUNCH® Jingles, unwrapped
  • mini pretzels for hat base
  • white frosting
  • large marshmallows
  • pretzel sticks for arms, broken in half
  • NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Mini Morsels for eyes and buttons
  • Orange frosting or small candy pieces for nose
  • Thin-string licorice cut into 7-inch pieces for scarves

Bake and cool the cookies to become “sleds” for the marshmallow snowmen. Insert pretzels sticks into both sides of the snowmen, then add the mini chocolate chips as buttons (dip a toothpick in the frosting then add a small amount to the back of the chocolate chip). Here’s what a did a little differently..I inserted a pretzel stick in both of the marshmallows to help keep them together. I also melted some mini chocolate chips to dip the mini pretzels in then pressed the Crunch Jingles on top. For the face add the mini chocolate chips for eyes and a small amount of orange frosting for the nose. Wrap the scarf around and add the hat with a little bit of frosting then let them sit for about 20 minutes.
