Test tube confetti party favors and Happy New Year printable tags.

Confetti Party Favors

Hey crafty friends! Are you ready for the new year? The holidays were, once again, a whirlwind. This month has been crazy busy and I’ve really enjoyed taking a little break over the last week. With the kids out of school I was ready for some much needed family downtime at home. I truly love having them home, even if it’s complete chaos with all three home at the same time. We had a wonderful Christmas and we’re now looking forward to starting a new year. My main priority right now is decluttering and focusing on new goals. Before we too far ahead of ourselves though we still have one last holiday party to celebrate – New Year’s Eve! And when I say party I mean a pajama party with junk food, fizzy kid drinks, and lots of confetti. That’s right, this momma will be watching the ball drop in the company of three little ones. I don’t expect two of them to stay up that late, but we’ll still be partying in our pjs until then. In preparation for our kid-friendly New Year’s Eve celebration I made the kids these test tube confetti throwers with printable Happy New Year tags.

Throwing confetti ranks pretty high up there for my kids. Especially the little two, they love watching it fall. I’ve made a confetti throwers for them in the past so I know they’ll enjoy these test tube party favors. The best part is they’ll be able to easily remove the cork cap and the test tubes are plastic. I purchased these Martha Stewart test tubes at Halloween time. Every year I stock on them to use as part favors. I don’t think they’re sold any other time, but if I find them I’ll let you know. You can find similar test tubes, both glass and plastic, on Amazon. I’ll link a couple Amazon affiliate links below. The confetti inside is actually metallic gold gift basket filler. I gathered a handful and cut them into small pieces. I finished the party favors with a printable gift tag.

Supplies:
Plastic Test Tubes
or
Glass Test Tubes with Cork Stoppers (not recommended for children)
Metallic Gold Strands

Thank you for the printable tags! That’s so nice and they are so neat. You are a way cool mom for your kiddos too.
