I’ll start with this “O Holy Night” Christmas star decoration and guess what? I have another giveaway for you guys! You can enter to win a Silhouette Cameo 3! More on that at the bottom of the post. So let’s get started on how to make this easy Christmas star decoration.

Supplies:
Star decoration (Home Goods)
Silhouette Cameo
Black vinyl from Expressions Vinyl
Clear Transfer tape

Step one: use your favorite font or a shape from the Silhouette store. This one is from the silhouette store but you could easily create your own with all the beautiful hand lettered fonts available online.

DIY O Holy Night Christmas Star DecorStep three: apply vinyl using transfer tape. This vinyl linked above is my absolute favorite! The grid lines help align your vinyl perfectly.

Today I am joining in with other talented bloggers to share over 20 amazing vinyl projects with you all to celebrate the launch of Alexis of Persia Lou‘s new Craftsy Class – Silhouette Saavy: Venture into Vinyl, a brand new online video class that will teach you everything you need to get started cutting vinyl with your Silhouette. In the course, Alexis will walk you through creating eleven different vinyl projects. You will get all the cut files you need as well as video guidance for each step, and you will learn techniques such as layering adhesive vinyl, cutting large-scale decals, using the print and cut feature with printable heat transfer material, creating vinyl stencils for screen printing, and more.
