Pilgrim Treat Boxes

My mother-in-law is hosting a big Thanksgiving dinner this year. All of our out of state family will be here to spend the week with us. She’s mentioned making ornaments with the kids the day after Thanksgiving, which I think is a fantastic idea. Those are some of the best memories to make don’t you think? Since she’s been busy planning out the weeks activities I thought it would be fun to make something for the kids. While browsing the Silhouette store I found these adorable Pilgrim Treat Boxes. I knew immediately that they would be great for holding crayons in.

I can’t stop admiring how cute they are, those designers are pretty talented! If you have a Silhouette it makes it very easy to cut dimensional shapes just like the Pilgrim Treat Boxes. You simply cut the shape out, fold at the perforated line, and glue it all together.

There’s an Indian treat box too that I’m going to use. I plan to fill them with crayons and maybe a small toy inside to keep them occupied while we wait for Thanksgiving dinner. I have several more to make so that each child can have their own.

Hi Crystal, Is there a template for the boxes – These are adorable – but I’m not too crafty and need directions. Thanking you in advance.
