Throughout childhood my mother would create little surprises for every holiday. If I’m being honest she still does this! Now she has grandkids and her children to make surprise treat bags for. It’s nothing too fancy but it’s a tradition I’ve always enjoyed and looked forward to. She’ll add in small gifts that she knows we’ll love and our favorite candy. I can pretty much expect to receive one for every major holiday. Trust me, I thought this would end when I started college but my new found independence only motivated her more to keep our traditions alive. When I had my son I knew I wanted to pass on this tradition of surprising my children with something special, whether it’s a special note, holiday activity, treat bag or seasonal gift. I wanted to create a traditional that they can remember when they’re older. During Christmas time our “Elf” often leaves behind fun activities and treats for the kids to enjoy. This year I wanted to create a treat bag that “Santa” surprised them with while we countdown to Christmas. I quickly put together this Santa KISSES treat bag using the new Hershey’s Santa Hat KISSES and a printable tag.
Hershey KISSES have always been a holiday staple in our home. The colors are so festive and they’re great for crafting and baking with. The new HERSHEY KISSES Santa Hat chocolates are exclusively available at Target. These cute little red and white foil chocolate candies are going to be in every treat bag I give this year. The cute Santa hat design is perfect for the holiday season and I can’t wait to make a few crafts with the kids with them.

To make these easy DIY christmas treat bags I simply added glitter tape to the front of the bags then used a hole punch and ribbon to tie on the printable tag.

I absolutely love these cute little gifts. I have them all put together for all the children in my life to leave out for Christmas morning but I can’t print the labels. What is the secret? I would rather not have to design them in elements after you have gone to so much work to create the perfect labels already.
