My goal every year is to start my holiday gifts early. Whether I’m making bath bombs or buying something special, I feel so much better about the holiday season when I’m prepared. Over the years I’ve shared a lot of handmade gift ideas. They are usually simple and inexpensive to make. I’m keeping with tradition by sharing this quick and easy gift idea I made for a friend. Supplies:

Cricut Explore Air 2
Clear Paint Can
White Vinyl
Transfer tape
Gifts: socks, MY FAVORITE NAIL POLISH, lip balm, candy, mini bath bombs (or learn how to make your own HERE)

Step one: select your snowflake shapes in the Cricut design space. I used a combination of several snowflakes in various sizes. In the end, I used about 15 snowflakes. The rest will be used for a few mason jar gifts I’m making. Step two: set your machine to the vinyl setting and begin cutting. Then get ready for the fun part – weeding out the excess vinyl! Have a seat with your favorite show, because if you’re like me and cut a lot of small snowflakes, you’ll be weeding for a while. But I have to say, I’m always impressed with how well the Cricut Explore Air 2 can cut small, intricate designs. Some of the snowflakes are half an inch, yet the machine cut every detail perfectly. Step three: use transfer tape to apply the snowflakes to your container. I decided to apply each individually so that I could spread out the sizes and designs throughout the container. Step four: fill with small gifts & wrap a bow, then you’re done!
