One of my favorite things about having a girl is playing dress up and having pretend tea parties. Last year Madi received a big box with all the Disney princess costumes for her birthday. She absolutely loves dressing up as a different princess everyday, often asking if she can go to the store dressed like that. I’m not talking about just a princess dress it’s the dress, shoes, jewelry, gloves, and tiara. On a few occasions I’ve decided to pick my battles and allowed her to go out like that, which is always fun to watch everyone’s reactions. Of course when you’re three you can get away with it, right? Cinderella Paper Crafts

Madi loves Disney princesses so much we’ve been working on building her Disney movie collection. With the new Cinderella movie coming out tomorrow her and I are a little too excited for a girls movie night after dinner.

Paper Princess CrownWe’re so excited about the movie release that we’re inviting a few friends over for a royal Cinderella party! She requested a slumber party and it’s been hard trying to explain to her that she’s still a little too young for that, but I think her royal Cinderella party is going to be a blast!

We went to the store to see what we could find. I’m undecided on the direction we’re going with this. I’m really inspired by a few vintage Cinderella parties I’ve seen on pinterest. But it would be a lot easier to just buy the party supplies at the store. I did however start on a few Cinderella party favors. I have a princess party cartridge that has Cinderella slippers and crowns.

For the crown I used adhesive pearls and Martha Stewart glitter, because what 3 year old doesn’t love glitter? :)

There’s a Cinderella Retailainment Event at Walmart stores that we were excited to go to dressed as Cinderella (her not me, ha) this weekend. But unfortunately none of the stores near me are hosting it. If you’re daughter loves Disney princesses check to see if your store is hosting one. There will be games, activities, and even pumpkin decorating for the kids!

This is so awesome!! I bet she has a blast! What a great mamma she has :) My dad collected all the Disney VHS’ (which dates me..) for me when I was little so I grew up watching them–what wonderful memories! Your daughter will have the same. Thanks for sharing.

Oh that is a gorgeous little party idea. The crown is my favorite, although the ribbon in the shoe really makes it so beautiful. I’m sure she wil have a ball (pun intended) Stopping by from Sugar Bee Crafts
