DIY Gingerbread Sugar Scrub – this easy gingerbread sugar scrub is made with only 3 ingredients, smells amazing and makes a lovely handmade gift idea!
Hello friends! Christmas is quickly approaching and it is time for me to start working on my gift list! Every year I try to give as many handmade gifts as I can. We have our neighbor gifts, teacher gifts, ballet instructor gifts and many, many more! We usually bake treats for our neighbors and make gifts for teachers. One of my favorite handmade gift ideas to give is sugar scrubs. I’ve been giving my friends and sisters sugar scrub mason jar gifts for years. They always enjoy the seasonal scents, especially this time of year. Today I’m sharing this easy Gingerbread Sugar Scrub recipe and gift wrap idea.
How to make Gingerbread Sugar Scrub
This gingerbread sugar scrub smells incredible! I know I say that a lot with my sugar scrub recipes but this truly smells like you’ve been baking Christmas cookies all day. With a hint of vanilla and spices, this gingerbread scrub makes a great Christmas gift for friends, family and co-workers. It’s also incredibly easy to make. All you need is brown sugar, almond oil, for essential moisturizing nutrients, and some gingerbread fragrance. You could also make your own scent with spices from your kitchen. Note: if you have a nut allergy you can replace the almond oil with coconut or grapeseed oil. Play around with the ratios until you find a consistency you prefer.
