Hello friends! Have you watched Beauty and the Beast? We loved the live-action remake and my daughter’s already talking about a Beauty and the Beast birthday party. I’ve been thinking of party ideas to make and what kind of party favors to give her guests. Today I’m partnering with Cricut to share this DIY holographic enchanted mirror party favor inspired by Beauty and the Beast.

Supplies:
Cricut
Glitter cardstock
Yellow cardstock
Holographic HTV
Glue Rhinestones (optional)
DIY holographic enchanted mirror
Step one: I used the mirror shape from the Cricut Design Space store and sized it to about 7 inches high. To make the mirror sturdy, cut two for each mirror (I used one glitter and one yellow cardstock paper). You could also use chipboard for an even studier mirror.Step two: apply the holographic heat transfer vinyl to a thick piece of cardstock. You only need a small piece, enough to cover the back of the mirror. To do this you need to stack the holographic vinyl on top of the cardstock and press a hot iron down for a few seconds. Once the paper is cool remove the plastic layer on top of the holographic vinyl. Then cut your holographic cardstock into an oval shape slightly larger than the mirror cut out.
Step three: glue your holographic oval behind the mirror cutout. Then glue your second piece of cardstock (the yellow paper). Add adhesive rhinestones to embellish the mirror. This would be a fun craft for kids to do during the party. You could use colorful gems, adhesive rhinestones, glitter and ribbon.
