Hey crafty friends! Are your kids out of school for summer? Today is the first day of summer vacation for us! Over the last week we’ve been making a bucket list of activities we want to do over the next couple months. My daughter’s #1 request is to have a spa party with her friends. Our plan is to invite her closest friends for a day filled with pampering, DIY beauty crafts, and treats. A few years ago I shared this two-ingredient lip gloss that’s perfect for a spa party and for kids to make. We’ll be making an assortment of shimmer lip-glosses at our party using only two ingredients.

How to make lip gloss with only two ingredients
Supplies:
Un-Petroleum Jelly
Shimmer Dust
Small bowl
Spoon or popsicle sticks
Lip Gloss Container
Step one: measure about 1 tablespoon of unpetroluem jelly into a small bowl. The amount you will need depends on the size of your container. Add a teaspoon more if needed.
Step two: add shimmer dust and mix until well combined. You don’t need exact measurements; just until the unpetroleum jelly takes on a shimmery color.
Step three: add your lip gloss to small containers. You can find these in the beading aisle in crafts stores or on Amazon.
Note: the shimmer dust is more for looks than actual pigmentation. My daughter loves this because it does add a shimmery gloss but the actual lip color doesn’t change like it would with lipstick.
