Handmade honey & oatmeal soap made with vanilla essential oil in a bee and honeycomb shape.
Hello friends! I’m back with another easy soap recipe. This exfoliating and moisturizing soap bar is made is with goat’s milk soap, steel cut oatmeal, honey and vanilla. The oatmeal helps remove dead skin cells, allowing moisturizing nutrients like honey to lock moisturize in. The scent is a comforting blend of vanilla and honey that makes a great gift for someone who is sensitive to strong fragrances. The soap mold is a beautiful bee and honeycomb pattern precut into small bars.

Supplies:
Goat’s milk soap base
Honeycomb Soap Mold
Oatmeal
Honey
Optional: vanilla essential oil
Large Pyrex cup
Step one: cut goat’s milk soap base into small cubes. Melt soap in a large Pyrex cup, stirring every 30 seconds.
Step two: stir in honey, oatmeal and vanilla essential oil. Note: I’m using steel cut oats but old fashioned oatmeal will work too. I also like to sprinkle a little bit of oats inside the soap mold. Fill each cavity with soap and let set for at least 2-3 hours. Once soap has set simply press on the bottom of the mold and they come right out.

Honey & Oatmeal Soap
This was one of the easiest soaps I’ve made and I’m so happy with the way they turned out. I bought this bee soap mold over a year ago and I’m glad I finally put it to use. These cute bee and honeycomb soaps will come in handy for handmade birthday gifts and holiday gifts. They can also be used for baby shower, bridal and wedding party favors.

Hi,
I’d like to make these soaps. What vanilla essential oil did you use? Did they discolor with the vanilla?
Very pretty soap! I have this mold too and will make these soon…looks easy enough!
I LOVE these. I’m doing little jars of honey for my wedding and wanted to alternate the favors. This will be perfect. With this recipe, how many soaps did you make?
These are adorable! I just made my first batch today for wedding favors. We are alternating soap and little jars of honey. Thank you for this easy and inexpensive idea :)
