A handmade spa gift is perfect for a friend, teacher, and even a new mom. Sometimes I find myself in need of a quick gift that doesn’t require a lot of supplies to make. With a few beauty products found around the house I recently made a spa gift that a friend can enjoy at home.

I had several dollar containers left over from my craft organizati0n project that I’m glad I kept for easy handmade gifts. These blue containers came from Target and are perfect for organizing craft and beauty supplies or as small gift baskets.

There’s a special person who I wish I could spend more time with, especially visiting the salon together like we used to when we were younger. Gahhh that makes me sound old. She works full time and has been under a lot of stress lately. Since our schedules often conflict its been difficult trying to sneak in a pedicure session together. So instead I made her a small gift to use at home after a long day at work.

I found these small jars at Hobby Lobby and filled them beauty products to help my friend pamper herself at home. The jars are filled with Dove Body wash, handmade lavender bath salts, and brown sugar scrub (both of which I’ll share recipes for soon).

Dove Body Wash

I was recently asked to be a Dove Ambassador and try their new and improved body wash formula. Have you tried it yet? Dove has combined their mildest cleansers with NutriumMoisture, all 100% natural moisturizers to help keep your skin smooth and nourished. Two of my children have sensitive skin so its always been a priority to find products that are mild and help nourish their dry skin. Dove body wash is perfect for our family because is mild enough for those with skin sensitivities and it creates a rich lather that you don’t typically see in mild formulas. spa gift

I really like how soft my skin feels after using the body wash. It feels like the high priced products they use at the salon without the outrageous price tag. I’m hoping my friend loves her spa gift as well (oh and that she isn’t reading this since I can’t give it to her until Friday.
