DIY Mason Jar Succulent Planters

Mason Jar Succulent Planters

In a few weeks, I’m attending a monthly dinner party with a great group of ladies. The host gathers ideas and creates the best party themes every month. Last month we had a favorite things party, which was a lot of fun to see what everyone else’s favorite things are and to come home with them. This month’s theme is a garden party and everyone will bring a plant to give to another person. She always has a fun way of making the gift exchange exciting, so I’m looking forward to seeing the plants everyone will bring. My go-to plants are succulents, mainly because it’s a plant I can’t kill. Or maybe I have in the past but let’s just say they have a better chance with my black thumb. As part of the plant, exchange I plan to bring mason jar succulent planters with printable Easter tags and an Easter ribbon attached.

DIY Mason Jar Succulent PlantersThese mason jar succulents are really easy to put together. I simply painted a coat or two on small mason jars then filled them with soil and small succulent plants. You could also add small rocks to help the water drain properly if you plan to leave them in the mason jars long term.

Supplies:

  • Mason jars
  • Americana Multi-Surface paint in Lavender Fields, Soft Jade, & Pink Cadillac
  • Brush
  • Succulents
  • Soil
  • Easter Printable Tags
