My son is turning 8 next week (Halloween to be exact) so this past weekend we had a Pokemon Party to celebrate. I would have loved to create this extravagant pokemon tablescape and handcrafted decor for the tables, but let’s be real here…with 3 kids I just don’t have the time to channel my inner Martha for every party we host. And to be honest I think he would’ve been happy with just the cake, family, and friends. Here are a few pics of the party…
For the cake I tinted half of my frosting with AmeriColor red, used Wilton Black icing, and a marshmallow cut in half for the center.
I made the banner using my Cricut machine. I cut red and white circles then cut the white circles in half and glued the white semi circle onto the red circle…woah did I really just say “circle” 4 times in one sentence? Embroidery floss was used to hang it up.
Edible Pokemon balls (Marshmallows dipped in red candy melts)
Pretzels dipped in white chocolate then dipped in red candy melts
Overall the party was a huge success. He had a blast and that’s all that matters right? :)

Oh and you can now find me on Twitter..woohoo!! I’m still getting used to it, but I’d love to connect with you!

Thanks for stopping, have a fabulous day!
