Create a berry basket succulent gift with printable “Thanks for helping me grow tags” to give as a Mother’s Day or Teacher Appreciation gift.

Hello friends! With Mother’s Day and Teacher Appreciation quickly approaching I’ve been thinking of gift ideas to share with you. For teacher appreciation I usually make a small handmade gift and add a gift card. Volunteering in my daughter’s class every week has made me aware of how much time and money teachers put in towards their classrooms. When possible I try to give a gift card to let them know we appreciate them and their influence in our children’s lives. This year part of my handmade gift will be these berry baskets filled with succulents and chalkboard printable gift tags.
Supplies: (from Michaels)
Wood berry baskets
Succulents
Reindeer moss
Wooden stakes

I found a pack of four succulents in a square container. I decided to keep them in their original container so that the recipient could plant them wherever they’d like. However, I wanted to gift them in these beautiful unfinished wood berry baskets from Michaels. These adorable berry baskets are part of their new Recollections Craft It party décor line. Have you checked it out? It’s filled with a variety of party supplies for every color scheme you can think of. There are a total of 15 colors including unfinished natural wood products like these berry baskets that made great gifts. I considered painting the baskets but I really liked the natural unfinished look with the moss and succulents.
