Easy 3-ingredient pink Himalayan salt grapefruit soap recipe.
Hey crafty friends! I have another melt and pour soap recipe to share with you. I made this grapefruit soap with pink himalayan salt for Mother’s Day a few weeks ago. I have to say this might just be my favorite soap recipe so far. I love the lemon soap and lavender lemon soap but I’m currently obsessed with all things grapefruit. I’ve been using grapefruit essential oils in homemade lip balm, bath salts, and in this easy soap recipe using a melt and pour soap base. I recently ordered soap making supplies to make cold process soap at home and I’m excited to share a few new recipes with you next month. I’ve always enjoyed making soap with the melt and pour soap base but making cold process soap has been on my to-do list for awhile and I couldn’t be more excited with the results. In the meantime I hope you like grapefruit scented beauty products as much as I do! I have another DIY beauty post made with grapefruit essential oils to share with you soon.
You can find goats milk or shea butter soap base at your local craft store. The plastic molds and stamps are from Michaels.
I will say that initially had a hard time releasing the soap from the plastic molds. I typically use silicone molds which are easier to work with but this work well if you don’t fill them up all the way. I also lightly greased the molds with coconut oil to help release the soap easily.
