Holiday gift guide – top gifts for 2014.
Hey friends! Are you working on your holiday shopping? I’m feeling pretty comfortable with having 75% of my list done. I always have a few last-minute gifts left the days leading up to Christmas. So yes, I’m one of those frantically trying to find something decent at the mall 2-3 days before Christmas eve. This year I tried to keep the holiday stress down by shopping early and Amazon Prime is without a doubt my all-time favorite subscription. Buying gifts online and receiving them within two days is the best! I’m also making a lot of gifts this year. I have new handmade gift ideas to share with you this week but today I’d like to talk about some of the Top Gift Ideas for 2014. Here are some of our favorites and some that are on our wish list this year!
KitchenAid Artisan Series – I love my KitchenAid mixer, it’s definitely one of the best investments I’ve ever made. I have a plain white mixer but I dream of someday owning this beautiful mint mixer.
Keurig – This has been on my wish list for awhile. Since my husband doesn’t drink coffee this would make having an individual serving so much easier. It’s also great for taking a cup on-the-go.
Blendtec  – another wish lift item for myself. I’m an *almost* everyday green smoothie drinker, the blender would be perfect for smoothie recipes!
The Pioneer Woman Cooks – I’m a big fan of The Pioneer Woman. She has the most delicious recipes and I absolutely adore her show. Her books are beautiful and the recipes are even better.
Kindle Fire HDX 7″Â – My husband gave me a Kindle Fire HDX for Valentine’s Day and I think I fell in love with him a little more that day. I’m an avid reader and was quickly running out of room to store books. The Kindle Fire is a great investment for someone who enjoys reading and would like the functionality of a tablet.
Nikon D5200 Â – this is exact camera model I use and couldn’t live without it! It’s perfect for capturing our everyday life and photographing projects for my blog.
Fujifilm Instax Mini 8Â – Mini polaroids are trendy these days. We have an Instax we use on family vacations, like Disneyland, and it’s great to use those mini images in the kid’s project life books.
LeapFrog LeapPad3 Â – great for preschoolers with educational games and activities.
Beats headphones – Target recently had a great deal on these headphones. If they’re on your shopping list I recommend checking the Target ads for special deals and gift card offers. Sometimes they’ll offer a free gift card for each purchase.
LEGO Creative Bucket – we’re a LEGO-lovin’ family! This box is a great deal on LEGO bricks and perfect for the boys’ creative ideas.
KidKraft Vintage Kitchen – My kids have asked Santa for a play kitchen this year. Seriously, how cute is this mint blue vintage kitchen?
Barbie Birthday Wishes Doll – Santa is bringing this beautiful doll for my daughter this year. Shh… ;)
Kinetic Sand – Do your kids love Kinetic sand? My kids ask for Kinetic sand every time we visit a Michaels store. Santa is bringing this for all 3 kids and I’m hoping it provides endless hours of fun during the cold, rainy days.
Crayola Paint Maker – we have always enjoyed Crayola products and I can’t wait to try this paint maker with this kids this year.
Disney Frozen Olaf Cuddle Pillow – Olaf + pillow…does it get any cuter than that?
Disney Frozen Floor Puzzle – great indoor activity during the winter months.
Disney Frozen Castle – This playhouse doubles as an Anna and Elsa castle
Disney Frozen Elsa Doll– my daughter absolutely adores this Elsa doll.
Disney Frozen Watch – I ordered this watch for my niece who is a little older and loves Frozen. I like that both sisters on the design.Â
Brother Sewing Machine
 – this is the machine I use and I’ve found it’s a great for a variety of projects with a lot of stitch options.
Martha Stewart Glitter Set – I think Martha stewart fine glitter is the absolute best. I’ve had this pack for years and use it for a variety of projects throughout the year.
Cricut Explore – the new must-have tool for crafters. If you’ve waited for a cutting machine, the Cricut Explore is the way to go!
What are some of your favorite holiday gift ideas this year? I’d love to hear what your kids are asking for this year!

so many awesome gifts to give. Whom ever gets all those goodies will indeed be lucky recipients . Lets see who could we give all those wonders to? Would be fun to have money to buy what we’d love to for our kids and their kids and friends also. I get more enjoyment out of being able to give than to get. Not being martyr, just enjoy seeing people open gifts they’ve wanted. The look on their faces is priceless.
Enjoy the season.
