Peppermint bark cheesecake dip and Christmas treats blog hop.
If you’ve haven’t noticed we’re in a bit of a peppermint craze right now. It’s like those first few weeks of fall when pumpkin everything takes over your life. The beginning of December always turns into a peppermint fest for us. We like our Oreo peppermint bark, peppermint soap, peppermint bath bombs – pretty much peppermint everything. As soon as I spot the Ghirardelli peppermint bark candy at the store I start thinking of new recipes to try and ways to make peppermint gifts. I’m pretty sure I’ve made peppermint bark and peppermint chocolate covered pretzels every year for the last 10 years. They’re always my go-to holiday gift for friends and neighbors. This year I’ve added a new family favorite to our list – a peppermint bark cheesecake dip. This cheesecake dip is perfect for holiday parties or to enjoy during family movie nights.
Cheesecake dip is a family favorite dessert. It’s quick and easy to make and you can toss in just about anything you’d like. For this recipe I made a cheesecake dip with cream cheese, marshmallow fluff, and cool whip. The powdered sugar gives the dip just the right texture and sweetness to the mix. It’s not too thin and not too thick. For the peppermint flavor I’ve added Andes peppermint baking chips. You could enhance the peppermint flavor by adding a 1/4 teaspoon of peppermint extract into the the cream cheese. In addition to the pepermint chips I used miniature chocolate chips.
Peppermint Bark Cheesecake Dip

Yummy, this look delicious!!
I made this for a bible study group and for work… both groups LOVED the dip. I had a lot of people ask me for the recipe. I will say that I did double the amount of marshmallow fluff and cool whip simply so the cream cheese taste wasn’t so strong.
