Handmade Vanilla Rose Soap – create a beautiful handmade gift or party favor with this easy DIY Vanilla Rose Soap tutorial.
Happy Friday, friends! I have another handmade soap to share with you today. This beautiful floral heart shape soap would make a lovely Mother’s Day gift, bridal shower or wedding favor. It would also make a great Galentine’s Day gift for all the ladies in your life. I made a batch of these recently for a Galentine’s Day party I’m hosting (more details on that next week). I wrapped the individual soaps in cellophane bags and tied them with satin ribbon. A fun idea would be to make a homemade spa night gift basket with soap, sugar scrubs, nail polish and a face mask. So without further ado, let’s get started!

Vanilla Rose Soap
Supplies:
Heart Shape Mold
Goats Milk Soap Base
Rose essential oil
Vanilla oil
Soap Pigment
Step one: melt about 4.5 ounces of soap in a microwave safe bowl in 30 second intervals. I use a small kitchen scale to weigh my goat’s milk soap cubes.
Step two: stir in 10 drops of rose essential oil and a few drops of vanilla oil.Step three: add pigment until you reach desired colored. A little goes a long way with this pigment, you need about ¼ teaspoon or less. Pour liquid into mold and allow soap to harden completely.
Carefully remove from mold and admire the beautiful floral details. Seriously, I’m so impressed with the quality of this mold! I’ve tried a lot of soap making products over the years and this is definitely my favorite mold to date. I can’t wait to make more for Mother’s Day!
