This year our tree is going to have an eclectic collection of handmade and store bought ornaments. I want to focus on making as many ornaments with the kids as possible, both to give as gifts and keep for our own tree. I recently made glitter snowflake ornaments that I couldn’t wait to share. This idea for diy glitter ornaments is so simple to create and the possibilities are endless.
I used the Snowflakes die and double sided adhesive to create my ornaments. I cut the die cut out, applied it to the ornament, removed the backing, then sprinkled glitter on top. If you don’t have a die cutting machine you could use a punch to cut shapes out of the adhesive paper.
I also made one with Christmas trees using the evergreen punches die. The glittered shapes were a little too see through for my liking so I added faux snow inside to give them some contrast.
These turned out beautifully! I just love the snowflake ornament. And filled with “snow”? So precious! Thanks for sharing this with us!
These are so cute! Thanks for sharing!
These are beautiful, can I ask where you got the double sided adhesive from?
